    My wife & I called into Avenel yesterday for a light lunch whilst travelling from Melbourne to Beechworth. We thought we'd try this café and are so glad we did. Delicious food presently elegantly and very reasonably priced. Friendly service and a delightful ambience. We will be making it a regular stop-over whenever we are travelling on the Hume.

    Love this cafe. Annie is just gorgeous. The coffee is great and the breakfasts are just awesome. Highly recommend if you want to sit, drink coffee and chat
